From November 18 to 22, the Iquique wave will host the third and final Open division event and the second national stop for Junior and Dropknee, with the top positions in the rankings still up for grabs.

For five days, Punta 2 will once again take center stage in Chilean bodyboarding with the Iquique Mar de Campeones, an event that will bring together the country's top riders across five divisions, testing their technique, wave reading and maneuver execution.

The competition will be particularly important for the Open division, which will hold the third and final stop of the National Federated Bodyboarding Circuit and crown the 2026 national champions. Meanwhile, the Junior and Dropknee divisions will compete in their second national event, providing riders with another opportunity to earn points and improve their positions in the rankings.

In the men's Open division, attention will focus on Arica-born brothers Rodrigo and Moisés Silva, who enter the event as the leading contenders for the national title. Rodrigo tops the rankings with 2,225 points, closely followed by reigning national champion Moisés, with 2,150 points.

Both arrive as the leading contenders for the women's national title, while the other riders in contention will also be looking to improve their positions in the standings.

As for Junior and Dropknee, both divisions will compete in their second event of the season at Punta 2, giving riders another opportunity to earn points and strengthen their positions in the rankings, currently led by Cristóbal Tobar and Leonardo Alar, respectively.

The points awarded will be crucial for competitors aiming to finish the year among the circuit's top riders. As a three-star event, the competition will award 1,000 points to the winner, 860 to second place, 730 to third, 670 to fourth and 610 to fifth.

With the Open titles still undecided and the Junior and Dropknee divisions returning to competition, Iquique Mar de Campeones is gearing up for another edition that will put Chilean bodyboarding and a city historically connected to the sport in the spotlight.
