Thursday, October 8, will be dedicated to training and getting familiar with the conditions before entering the water for the official competition heats. With forecasts continuing to evolve in recent days, the organization has also confirmed Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10 as the competition days. The swell is expected to be mainly influenced by SW and NW components throughout both days at the renowned Punta de Lobos.
For Friday, October 9, waves of around 1.5 meters are forecast, with a period of approximately 13 seconds and close to 500 kJ of energy. Southern winds are also expected, although at lower intensity, a direction that can complement conditions at Punta de Lobos depending on its orientation.

With the dates confirmed and more than one hundred young surfers ready to compete, Punta de Lobos is preparing to welcome a new generation that will look to make the most of two days of competition at one of the most important surf spots in Chile.
