The athletes supported by VROZZ Films and Queen of the Wave will face the first challenge of the Bodyboarding World Tour, which will feature stops in the Maldives, Portugal, and Brazil.

The athletes are already in the Maldives, where they are preparing to compete in the biggest bodyboarding event in Asia and the first stop of the World Tour, which will take place from August 12 to 21 in Cokes, Thulusdhoo.

For both athletes, the start of the international season comes with important goals. While Alexandra Rinder arrives in the Maldives with the mission of defending her world title, young Constanza Soto will face one of the biggest challenges of her career as she competes on the World Tour in the Open division for the first time.

The Maldives will be the first stage of a season that will take the riders to some of the most important destinations in international bodyboarding. The archipelago is world-renowned for its consistent, hollow waves over coral reefs, conditions that will put the best athletes on the circuit to the test.

After this first stop, the World Tour will continue in Portugal and later arrive in Brazil, where the season will come to an end. Brazil will also host the only Junior event, where Soto will face the challenge of competing simultaneously in two divisions as she looks to fight for one of the two titles.

As for Rinder, after being crowned World Champion last year, the Spanish rider acknowledges that she enters this new season with a different perspective, but with the confidence of knowing what she is capable of achieving when she competes as herself. Her challenge now will be to once again dominate the circuit and prove that she can repeat the feat.
